Hola, amigos (y amigas)!

Well, we have returned from Mexico none the worse for wear and without sunburn, though we saw a lot of it on others. In fact, both of the other brides-matrons (i.e., in addition to Mrs. Guy as Matron-of-Honor) had a good bit of it by the time the ceremony took place. I tried not to laugh out loud.

I tried especially hard not to laugh out loud at the rather rotund man speaking German (I'm pretty sure it was German) out on the beach wearing his speedos (ugh...not a pretty sight) and sporting crimson skin on every square inch of his back and the back of his legs (not pretty either, but I found it amusing all the same).

At some point I will try to put together a post with my overall impressions of the trip, but it's after 10:00 pm here, and I still have to get a bag of stuff together to take to the hospital with me in the morning (gotta make sure my iPod is in there...). My surgery is scheduled for ... well, I don't know when it is actually scheduled for, but my "check-in" time is at 9:30 am. In my experience, that could mean I go under the knife by 10:30 am, or as late as 3:30 pm. I'll just have to wait and see. The later it is, the more likely I will be spending the night at the hospital. Even if I come home, I'll be groggy. What I'm saying is, don't expect a post from me tomorrow, unless I can talk Mrs. Guy into ghost writing one (not very likely). But don't worry, I will do my best to have at least trivia for Thursday.

Buenas Noches!!!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-04-26T02:08:58Z</dcterms:modified>
